Biology: The Kedo, like human Beings are bipedal Mammals divided into two sexes. Skin tone and distinctions in facial characteristics vary with different breeds of Kedo. Kedos are anti-social creatures and usually avoid massing in large groups and generally cope well with a solitary life. Kedos are omnivores and feed on a wide variety of animals. Kedos prefer to feed on large grass eating herbivores such as Vox and Tison, as well smaller creatures like pats, cheet and crabbits. Kedos are also known to feed on fish, avions, as well as fruits and vegetables, a hold over from their genetic past when they lived in the jungles. While not the strongest of species, Kedos are much tougher and stronger than humans, and possess a mild form of ESP that enables them to be slightly empathic. Kedos can go days without water, weeks without food. They can survive cold temperatures to a far greater degree than other races such as the Humans, or high temperature environments that would kill a reptile in as little as a day. Their ability to adapt is probably one of the Kedo race's most powerful genetic trait.
Society: The Kedos are governed by a very controlling monarck. The limited numbers of freedoms granted by this system result in feelings of appression and anger amongst the general population. However, the population does have limited freedom and openess that can sometimes be exploited and make them vulnerable to infiltration. The Monarc keeps the population under control by preaching that the Kedo are Gods chosen race. Over the history of the Kedo people many holly wars have been fought in the name of their God Salideen.
History: With such a rich and diverse history, providing even a breif summary of Kedo history would take volumes. We know that the Kedo evolved from humans or more specifically they are the evolution of humanity. The Kedo share their human heritage and pronounced history of killing each other which stretches back to the very beginning of the human race. As a result, they have become extremely proficient at that art of war. The Kedo also control a sub race of cloned animal like soldiers known as the Paradon, who are often used in war as ground troops.
