I like the idea of the Eneron Shipset in SEIV and would like to put it in my SEV Empires.

The Race pic is there and I could make a flag set for it.

The problem is after that I am lost on what to do to make it SEV compliant. Is it doable without pulling my hair out.

And no I have not been able to talk to the Author so will put any credit I can find in a readme txt.

You cannot use a SEIV shipset in SE5 unless you have source 3d models, and can convert them to the Direct3d .x format..

Smarter than your average Texrak.

Yea; I figured that out the hard way.

I am trying to make one from scratch.

My problem is making a 3d rendering of the obj I create. The Mental Mill I DL says errorso looking for a free program to make a 3d rendering.

Daz Studio is free, and you can import .objs into it and create renders from that. Thats what I use for my 3D renders (I'm not very good with 3D Max's renderer and I think Daz produces servicable results without the huge amound of CPU time.)

This is a render I did for a Freespace2 Mod i'm working on

It works really nicely if you take the time to learn the finer points of lighting.
