For some reason i cant start a new game, getting an error about missing file in neutral009, cant see anything wrong with this file and lets me play existing games ok,
Anyone know what might be up?

There should be 10 files in the N9 folder.

1: What's the name of the file?
2: are you playing Warp 10 mod? (I messed with the neutrals to give them more star trek flavor)

yeah i am using warp 10, currently running version 2.2.
it only says neutral009 nothing more whic is really helpfun.
it has 10 files in the folder though others dont funny enough

Hmm...
That is the Phylosians. I accidentally screwed something up when programming Neutral009 to be the Phylosians. I think I have it fixed now but the released version has the bug. IIRC the bug only has a 50% rate of occurence. aNyways to fix:
Open: SE5\GameTypes\WarpTen2.2.0\Empires\Neutral009\Neutral009_AI_Main.txt
replace | Code: | Image Empire Flag Set := Neutral009
Image Empire Flag Main Texture := Neutral009
Image Empire Flag Ship Texture := Neutral009
Image Empire Flag Fleet Texture := Neutral009
|
with | Code: | Image Empire Flag Set := Neutral009\Neutral009_Flag_Set.bmp
Image Empire Flag Main Texture := Neutral009\Neutral009_Flag_Texture.bmp

I'm currently doing a PBEM test game and when that's done I'll start working on the next version. The current possibilities for the next version are: more races, and/or finishing the special ship hulls.
