He has already joined! Clearly it wants more than one game.
If so, and if anyone else wants another game I could start a second one... doesn't have to be this mod, but then you wouldn't get the nice graphics

right...I want more!
i'm always ready to join a game, if you'll start a new one.
For the mod this time may be proportions, P&N or Others or even the same Skywalker mod (started to like it a lot )

Psst, don't say anything, but he hasn't seen an invisible galaxy yet! Er does that even make sense! Bug I'm working on, got it reduced to the last few galaxies in my list, but don't tell anyone!
But back to PBEM, if we get some interest I can certainly start something (I'm always starting something actually...)

Might I suggest using PBW2 instead of going the PBEM route?

good suggestion, for me, but it's up to the possible game host to choose, personally i'll be glad to use the new PBW2 site.
From what i understood, things would not change a lot for the game host, as in this stage of develepement, the site will be used only for distributing savegames & collecting turns, but all processing will be done manually by the host (that means we still could play wathever mod and race we will choose to), so he will only have to upload the savegame & download plrs turns to his machine instead of sending/receiving mails, am i right, Fyron?

For Intimidator, the game had been set up on PBW2, you can join if you'd like to, seems alikiwi and BK will join

I've got an autohosting script written for PBW2. I'm just bolting on a GUI for the mass market now.
The idea is that you run this in the background on your PC, and it will do all the admin stuff for you. (Wait for the turn to be ready, download the files, process the turn, and then upload it all again)

It wouldn't be much use if it only ran on a system that couldn't run SE4/5
I'm pretty sure it would also run SE4 just fine under wine too tho.

found it on your imagemodserver, hope the version is correct, now i'll see what i can do with this.rar file , didn't find it in the tools section of se.net so i looked for it directly on your server, since there's a clear and complete readme file i presume it is intended for distribuition?
Just installed, it seems to work well, will see it better on 1st turn processing if there's no other way to test for its correct installation

It is still fresh and new, so I haven't posted links yet.
Let me know if there are any hiccups.
PS:
If you noticed the readme.txt, did you read it and follow its advice?

advice followed (it was the 4th really not the second copy),configured the path for rar directly in the.ini, had some problems with case sensitive mod tags, then ran rhe GUI to test. from the log files seems connection had worked well, it downloaded the file (wich for now does not contain anything), uncompressed it & tried to process & uploaded the new compressed file. It seems to work, really a good work , thanks SJ, will let you know
only a question, my game is not still really "ready" with plr turn files for download, i presume it downloaded a dummy file created by PBW2 to handle this stage for the game?

You will always have a "/node/host" XML feed on PBW2. If you host 0 games that are in a ready to process state, the XML feed will have no game nodes in it. Once a game is in a process state (depending on processing mode options), it will appear in the XML feed, and the autohost program will find it and take over.
