Malfador would think of making a function so that each race has its own star system. Star Trek Exemple: Ferengi race, Ferenginar System. Federation race, Sol System

I made a pitch for that function to be added to Se V and Aaron himself didn't see a need for it. I have to defer to the man who makes the game and if he saw no need for that function then there was no need for it. Aaron is a very smart guy. I should drop him an email, haven't talked to him in two years.

Aaron would be 100% wrong in saying there is no use for such a function.

Of course, as it stands now one can write an event script that renames all the planets in each home system to be appropriate for the race living there. You can't rename the system itself, unfortunately.

Smarter than your average Texrak.

It's just when we add a new shipset in the file AI_General can add a feature to choose himself the name of the solar system for the race to which we want to assign.
For example:

Name: = United Federation of Planets
Description: =
Empire Name: = Federation
Empire Type: = United Planets
Emperor Name: = Jaresh-Inyo
Emperor Title: = President
Design File Name: = FedTNG_AI_DesignNames.txt

There would be this:

Name: = United Federation of Planets
Description: =
Empire Name: = Federation
Empire Type: = United Planets
Emperor Name: = Jaresh-Inyo
Emperor Title: = President
"System Name : = Sol"
Design File Name: = FedTNG_AI_DesignNames.txt

It was brought up in one of the chats, years ago. He shot the idea down pretty hard guys. I never brought it back up again.
