Hello. There is a bit of a problem.

Grav plates and hyperdence cable are 2 000 units big, but after fully researching all available hull sizes (light, med-ligh an med to 3 and all others to 6) - biggest hull is 1700...

Soo... question is - how are we supposed to build dyson spheres and rings if no ship can possible hold components? Did I miss something?

You did. It is purposely designed like that so you can't build them directly with your planets. You must build construction ships to build stations with the dyson sphere components on a sun.

Oukaaaay... How am I suppose to drive construction hsip on the sun? They refuse to go ther - only tio adjacent hexes. Is that enough?

The bases with the ring/sphereworld components just need to be adjacent to the star. The baseship with the generator component when used will move the one space onto the star to create the ring/sphereworld.
