The request I probably get most on the data file side is to increase the difference between the hull sizes. After some consideration I decided to go ahead and do just that. Some of the hulls also got additional research levels versus the current scheme.

I've also revised the various engine/crew requirements as well, so the ships are still more or less balanced in terms of the space they have for required and propulsion components as they were previously.

Lastly I also condensed the number of ship construction technologies (previously 7) into 3 (small, medium, large) tech areas. It's about the same total research length and the various hulls and construction technologies themselves are still interwoven. I will post an updated v1.20 tech chart to illustrate the changes tonight or tomorrow.

Why are the carriers Small/Medium/Heavy while the freighters are Small/Medium/Large? Should that be Light Carrier?

That's no space station - it's a spreadsheet!
