If enough players have time for both games, and I do, keep it going. If we are forced to play only one due to players not being able to keep up, then go with the second one.

I am no longer really interested in playing KAR1.

I did not get a good start. My home system in at the end of a spacial cul-de-sac I had to travel through two gates in order to find a system with more than one way to go (excluting going back the way I came) and both of the systems I have managed to survey are useless. Well one is truely useless, the other has 1 colonizable planet (tiny) and another colonized by Kyth. Which means that I am backed into a corner with no colonizable space and about to go to war, most likely, if I try to colonize planets in a system already "claimed".

However, if a majority of players wish to continue that game I will stick it out to the bitter end.

You forget I'm a race of peaceful machines. And don't forget, those vacant systems are double-bladed. They stop you from travelling far, but they also provide a significant defensive buffer that slows enemies down and prevents them from building resupply posts. Smile

I might acutally agree with you there if I actually had a decent system or two behind the wall of bleak emptyness, but with the curerent crap I have its just a big pain in the ass.

right now I am waiting for my ships to meander across the third system to their warp points so I can see if there are any colonizable systems out there.
