I've been working on this simple mod for the past three weeks, and it has reached completion. It is based on Raapys's DarkUI mod and incorporates some of its elements such as buttons and some icons, though it is a tad wider in general scope.

As for now, things that were added/modified are:


- Main UI texture

- Window pictures

- Decoration Items

- Icons embedded to the UI windows (minister, atmosphere/planet type)

- Scrollers and checkers

- HUD Planet/Base status icons

- All column icons smoothened

- Planet status icons

- Misc sidebar buttons

Extremely awesome! Very Happy
I have a question...I've tried making custom start screens a few times, and the game never would display them unless they were for a mod(once you'd selected a mod and went back to the start screen the custom one would show up.)...but a custom replacementfor the default UI image file just left me with a blank screen. Was this a bug in an earlier version of the game, that I happened to still be using? Or did you do something I didn't...?

Probably an earlier version bug, last time I replaced the default UI screen it worked fine... Also, it could be the photoshop file header bug.

Ohh, I'll be sure to try this. I'm a big fan of the initial dark ui mod and if you prettied it up a little further, that's great.

Wait... so you redid the UI but left in the fake buttons that don't do anything? Razz
