Situation:

Latest Balance mod, latest SEV. Basic drones - engines, ordinance containers and cannons\missiles (tried several versions). Tried on simulators but whatever I do - drones just stay idle. They do nothing. yes they have full ssupply and ordinance counters. Yes they had engines. No my drones didn't have warheads but Balance mode doesn't have "Seeks Towards Target And Rams" order for drones.

Sooo... any ideas?

I wasn't able to duplicate the basic issue with drones not engaging in the simulator. Can you provide more details about the targets and the strategies assigned to the drone design types?

Rather odd.
Different game. Got to first stage of Drone tech. Basic drone carrier. Destroyer hull, 2 drone launchers. Engines, armor, sensors, etc. Pitted 2 such ships with drone launchers VS my 2 same ships on simulators. Drones were succesfully deployed and exchanged missiles. No problem detected. Odd.

Also an unconnected issue.

In your tech chart is written- └[F] Atmospheric Modification Plant (3,6,9,12,15)

I take it it means that this plant will get upgrades at 3,6,9,12 and 15 lvl of Planet Utilisation. I am currently at lvl 8 and I see none. What am I doing wrong here?

The chart you are referencing is the tech chart posted for Balance Mod v1.20, which has yet to be released.

The v1.19 tech chart is here:

Also, a little request for next version - IMHO i't be good to have a "System Capital" class of plenets to be added ion stock list
