hello! i start a new game, i have fun with all those settings and i can use them. but now i have to add empires, fine for first side i can random roll the info, but still i have to decide a lot to much, is there a way to random generate empires completly? Back to top
You don't have to add any AI empires, the game will generate them for you. When the game starts, it generates a random number based on the "number of empires" setting you selected. It will then proceed to generate enough random AI empires to make the total of pre-selected empires + ai empires equal that total. Smarter than your average Texrak. Back to top
there's a setting for low/med/high. It's not per human player though. It's on the same page as the settings for the number and quality of homeworlds Back to top
You can also alter the min/max numbers in the Settings data file to fine tune the number of computer/neutral empires... I've set it at exact numbers instead of ranges before, to make certain I got all the empires I wanted - i.e.; I had 12 empires plus my human empire in the Empires folder & set the number of computer empires min & max at 12. AFAIK, this is the only way to force the game to use all the empires you want, unless you manually add each one and set it to be AI controlled. Back to top
