Hello, i start right now a new game, settings are quite good as i want and i have add each unique race, computer controlled.
it feels like i will start this setup quite a few times but with random generated maps, i cant find a save button to save my pre-game setup. is it possible to modify the quick start layout to my needs? Back to top
A favorite set-up can't be saved for repeated use. It will get quicker to click and type each game, though. I've always wished for an initialization file or something like that. Trade accepted. Please come again.

You can save your unique races as .emp files. You can also mod settings.txt to set certain defaults like max number of ships/units. (Remember not to edit the stock data files. Always make a copy and edit the copy.) Back to top
You can't change very many things about the "quick start" option (for example, "quick start" defaults to the stock ship and unit max no matter what you put in the Settings file). You could maybe force the computer to give you the same opponents every time with some tricky modding, but that's about it. I hate to say it, but you're probably better off doing it manually. Keep your point defense cannons charged... the Null Space Mod is now available. Back to top
