How to save ship strategies?

I hate how the default strategies are... What long-range ship should go point-blank, exactly?

I'd like to save this for use in my games so I don't have to think about it later. But I don't recall how to save strategies, only how to load them.

Well, all you do is choose any strat, and then the top two buttons on the righthand side of the screen are what you need. The first one saves and the second one loads strats.

I'm sorry it took me so long to respond; I kept forgetting to check when I was in-game.
