As an early ship, the Escort Carrier is far too powerful. 500kt hull with only 15% fighter bay content means not having to research up to cruisers for a long time. I lowered the hull size to 400kt, raised the base mineral cost to 500 and increased the fighter bay pct to 50% - I find this makes a perfect ship, an excellent early carrier, but not a cruiser replacement.
