my HD is making rattling sounds... need to stash some stuff

If it goes tits up I'm not re-doing it all again(already done so like 3 times...), so I need to save this here where i can get to it later. In the meantime if anyone wants to make use of it, go for it. It's a low poly reaver Trans-u .blend with a pretty much complete texture(just needs to be sized right and put in .x format), a low poly firefly .blend that was at the texturing phase(i have a UV map, but it's blank, and included if you want to color it in yourself), and a dalek .blend with texture(but the texture is severly lacking in detail and quality, i cut and paste from a dalek blue print, i was going to go over it sometime but the rattling started).

Dude, get a back up power supply to avoid power surges. Get a nice case that has good airflow to reduce heat build up. Install some more 120mm or larger fans. Buy a SSD and use it. Invest in a yearly back up subscription.

Yeah unless all that is delivered by the PC fairy if I put my HD under my pillow, that's not likely to happen soon...

anyway, made more reaver junk, just been taking random background ships from firefly(with no real references so if they look wrong screw it...) and giving them ugly, junky, beat up looking textures, had to kinda re-learn gimp and blender so they don't look that great(i may go back over a few) I'm just powering through as they come to me, any differences to the 'actual' show is cause i suck and didnt have web access to search for references when i made them...

Did Jubal Early's ship from the last ep(at first i was thinking of it as a destroyer, but then i watched the show and it was smaller then i recall. It's still labeled "destroyer" but i may use it as the fighter).

Did the "crab salvage" ship from 'out of gas'(thats what i call it, the one that pulled up to serenity with the engine part. It looked kinda crab like IIRC, and i didn't go back and watch the episode so if it looks wrong, screw it...).

Finished the above mentioned "corpsefied" firefly class's texture, then I realized I forgot that little AA gun they had up top... may go back and add it, i dunno...

Made a station that may or may not look vaguely like Niska's station. it doesn't have a texture yet but i'm about to run off the UV map.

edit: forgot, been working off of watching the show but my TV isn't really hi-def, and a few random images from google searches tend to turn up christmas ornaments... I don't suppose anyone with a DVD drive can get me a few stills from the reaver fleet and universe battle scenes?
