Latest release will be up in about 30 minutes, its still uploading to Filefront. Same location as above post.

Fixed the FTL drive problem with taking too long to build ships
Fixed major component problems and tweaked values
Fixed rock colony module problem

Added research and intel ship mountable components that actually award research and intel points!

Will there ever be any changes to the music?

I ask not because I think there are any needed, but 'cause if there arent I can save FileFront 146mb of bandwidth per time I patch by grabbing the No Music version, a cheaper way to patch up.

Most likely not, the music usually updates every season, with only one left I highly doubt there will be any update to that. I do post the no music and music version for exactly your type of case Smile

Only on a few items, I'm still running through the components data file deciding which component goes with which racial/empire. I have a bunch more tech/components to add here anyway, and each one I need to run through its paces with the associated script to ensure it works. No fear, I'll get it done.

Next release will have colonizable asteroids, a new 13th Tribe ship set and some component/empire specific construction/tactics additions to the empire scripts.

I'll be removing the actual shipsets from the mod also and just adding the empire scripts/flag sets so the mod will be autonomous to shipset types.

Mod is coming along quiet well now that I now what scripting requirements are needed Smile

I've integrated most of the components into the AI, ships are building as they should, even have battlestars and basestars as a design type, both get treated as a carrier (AI will load fighters aboard).

Still have some balance issues, have the main weapons (KEWs, Cylon Missile system and fighter suppression system) pretty well balanced for a release to the public.

Just have to tweak the armor for the Colonials, just not putting the right one on and not enough...

Be warned, the Cylons are packing a wallup for a first round hit, currently I can't survive a minute toe-to-toe (mainly because I don't have the armor balanced yet). Have the AI firing massive missile and nuke volleys, if you don't have your suppression system onboard your ship is toast.

Getting close to another release, BSG 4.3 with some major fixes and add ons.

Should get it out by this weekend.

Another Colonial Style shipset, special deep space stations for diplomatic and espionage fix, fixed salvage operations, expanded AI use of FTL drives, better AI response and build options.

Possibly pirates and derelict ships if all goes well...

Mod is close to being released, just tweaking some code for better game play and trying to find any errors ahead of time...

I have the 13th Tribe shipset almost complete, some non-canon Battlestars you should recognize, courtesy of Coxxon and Adrig for original design and concept.

Working on a pirate empire to wreck havoc during game, should be interesting. Not sure if I'll get it into this weekends BSG 4.3 release or not.

Finally finished the main problems plaguing this mod, the disappearing ships, diplomatic contact establishment and FTL drive use by the AI. I also fixed allot of the bugs reported by the fans of this mod, hope I caught them all.

Please report any bugs in the created sticky section of this forum, looking forward to polishing this mod out!

You can download two versions from here:

Its my personal fileserver so its a little slow (old machine but it runs great).

Or from the download sections here (Fyron is working the posting, so you may have to wait a little until he is done setting it).

EDIT: Fyron has all the newest versions and the patch for the BSG Mod in the download section, please download from there as my poor fileserver needs a break Smile
I'm removing the directory so it will no longer be available at that address.

BSG 4.3.1 is out both in patch form and fresh download. I accidentally left my beta version of my pirate option in this download, so don't be alarmed is some stupid pirates attack you randomly. They only attack in singles and its random between empires, so you might not even notice it.
