It's mostly BM v1.15 at this time, but from time to time I do work on Nova, particularly when there's some cross-over in the data files - such as the revised racial trait workings for Organic and Crystalline races.

Will you be using a newer version of FQM in the Nova Mod? There have been some interesting developments in the graphics department there?

Not really. I will most likely incorporate an alternate version with some custom elements. I don't intend to have the Multimedia pack as a prerequisite, so they will knock out the alternate planet images.

This can't be right:

Computer Virus (3)
- 30kT, Only Armor, Seeker, Missile

Also, I'd love to see some black hole generator in the gravitational weapons Razz Could be a slow moving high reload time missile or torpedo with massive damage effect to ships, bases and planets only maybe?

How about some outpost or system capital facilities which could have rather large sizes with multiple abilities for resource and research generation/storage and population happiness modifiers?

I like the habitat facilities, but you do realize that there's a bug regarding dropping population on planets equipped with such facilities? The planet refuses to take any more population beyond its "natural" capacity Razz

Currently there is a Palace facility and there will likely be an Administration Center (ie System Capital) which will be important to the "cultural influence" scheme that I'll post about later.

I'd like to avoid combining too many abilities though on single facilities. However, these facilities will indirectly boost production by keeping up population happiness, which will be much more difficult to maintain above indifferent in the mod.

alas we must wait till its operational enough for a public release, as to a more defined timescale i dont think even kwok could guestimate that... i could be wrong tho Razz
