Recently, the revitalised Hermes House, Shipyard division submitted a design to the Navy for a fighter transport ship. Whilst exact details of this design are classified, a modified version has been drafted, which will be able to be build under contract for those fleet owners wishing a defended support ship.
Holding a cargo capacity of 420 kts, it far out performs the proposed Stalwart MR VIII (only 180kt cargo) and is argueably better defended with longer range Light Kinetic Missile II installed.
The design is currently labelled Hermetic-b Class but may get a more independant name shortly. Specfics of design as follows:-
1 x bridge 1x crew quarter 1 x life support
2 x system auto. 1 x drive reactor 4 x engine ports (speed 5)
1 x fighter bay 7 x cargo bays 1 x supply bay
1 x light ken. missile II 1 x Logo # 1 8 x Regen. armour
1 x 40cm Ceramic armour 2 x 40mm DUC
We believe this is an efficent and well protected transport that can get your supplies to the front line safely. Not only can it carry and launch fighters, but it can carry troops or any other cargo, and not be easy prey to a stray alien warship.
Contact House Hermes Shipyards for more details.
NB Design subject to change without notice.
Specialised designs, are our specialty
Battle simulations with this new design named Hem'stek I shows that it is superior to the current M'tsek III design. In one on one battles against a Amman Class corvette, whereas the older design inflicts some damage and takes some damage, the Hem'stek design nearly destroys the corvette without taking any damage!
It is suggested that due to current situations along our borders, that placing some Hem'stek I satellites in orbit should be a priority. Design details are:-
1 Logo #1 1 Prim. comm. centre (satcom) 1 heavy exp. missle II (launch tube) 1 ancient supply pod VIII 1 x 40mm DUC
1 light kin. missile II (ext. rack) and 4 regen. armour
Strategy: currently break formation, but this is being looked at and may be modified
Design will be submitted to SJ

HHS Hermetic is to be laid down shortly at Egoria VIII shipyards! This prototype Transport - fighter ship has undergone final design modifications. Although specifically designed to transport fighters and is equipped with one fighter bay, the cargo capacity of 480 kT allows it to carry any type of cargo. Although its not an attack ship, with defenses and fighters it shows great promise in protecting itself and getting vital supplied to the front line.
The 8 layers of regen. armour makes it a tough ship. Back to top
Confirmation today that indeed the HHS Hermetic has actually been laid down at Egoria VIII shipyards and completion is expected in just 3 months! Plans are underway for a second ship believed to be named Hermenis, but as yet no details as to which House Hermes Shipyard will get the contract for construction.
Also, it has been revealed a number of Hem'stek I defense bases are also under construction, but exact locations are being kept secret. Watch your planet, and see if you are one of the lucky ones!
Also in the news, heading off demands by CNO Kana that System Lords protect warp points, a number of Freedom Class construction ships have, or are being laid down as we broadcast this message. House Hermes was planning on this very action before the so-called "request" by CNO Kana that it be done!
You heard it here first via Hermes Shipyard Design facilities, in association with House Hermes Central News! Back to top
On orders from SL Alikiwi, House Hermes Shipyard has designed a fast transport based on the destroyer hull. Named Spedosa Class, these ships move at warp 7 with a cargo capacity of 480kT and have a supply capacity of 10,000 units!
Designed for private companies or the navy and mercenary groups, to quickly move urgent supplies to safe areas near the front line. They should provide a good return by reducing time to destination and therefore costs per trip. The design also includes 5 layers of regenerative armour to provide some protection.
It is anticipated that an initial prototype will be laid down shortly. Check House Hermes Central News for updates as they become available. Orders, should be placed directly with SL Alikiwi. Back to top

Construction Ship Update
Hermes Shipyards have switched their planned construction yard ships to the longer ranging Gygax Class. Apparently the Freedom Class lacks a supply pod and are extremely short on range. The Gygax Class will allow construction ships to move to different warp points and systems without needing constant resupply.
So far 2 are known to be under construction or about to start construction this month
Rumours have started that one may be supplied to a Professional mercenary group for use in protection of House Hermes assets, this is yet to be confirmed.
When asked for comment, SL Alikiwi stated "It's news to me, but I'll let you know if it happens" The reporter can only add that there was a weird smerk on his face during the brief interview!
