Hi all!
I just unpacked Unnameds_Upgraded_AI_with_FQM_v109.zip, did the naive thing (i.e. moving the files in the same-name subdir of the SEV dir, respecting the zip's structure) and I get bugs.
1) It's my understanding that at the new-game prompt, I should get a choice between "Standard SE5" or "Unnamed AI SE5". I get only standard.
2) At load, I get a bunch of bug panels like "Could not load file C:\games\Space Empires V\Pictures\Effects\FMQ\StarGlow.bmp"
I checked the .zip, that file was not included.
So: Is there an FAQ, standard install instruction, did I find a bug, is it an omission in the zip, or is it MyBad(tm)?
Let's get my GameOn!

I spoke too soon. While the unnamed AI game type is now available, I'm still getting a (boorishly long) sequence of errors of the kind:
2) At load, I get a bunch of bug panels like "Could not load file C:\games\Space Empires V\Pictures\Effects\FMQ\StarGlow.bmp"
and also
3) ditto for "C:\games\Space Empires V\Pictures\Effects\SJsWPG\WPC1200.bmp"
Some 50 to 100 files are reported missing this way _every_time_ I click into a new system's display.
I'm obviously still missing some packages. Help!
P.S.
You're still a gentle-being

In the \Space Empires V\Pictures dir.
But I took the general se5mmpfull-v1.2.exe file from Admiral Martin's Mirror. Installing the individual zips now, and this seems to be what it wants.
---
Edit: Seems only Effects4.zip was missing from the .exe. To whom do I report this omission?

STILL! Missing the same files... *sigh*
Namely C:\games\Space Empires V\Pictures\Effects\FMQ\StarGlow.bmp et al.
Could you check in your SE V dir and tell me if you have it?
I suspect it's from an older version of the package, or from FMQ (whatever that is) but not included in "Unnamed's Upgraded AI with FQM" by misktake, or something.

Is "FMQ" your typo, or is it a typo in Unnamed's mod? If you look in GameTypes\Modname\Data\BitmapEffects_System.txt, it should say something like this near the top:
Effect Type := Star Glow
Specific Type := Star Glow Standard
Effect Name := Star Glow
Bitmap Filename := FQM\StarGlow.bmp
Smarter than your average Texrak.

Not sure if it matters but the version 1.09 used the last version of FQM, not the newly released one.

Thanks All! It worked with the latest version of the Multimedia pack, but only the .rar versions. The stuff on the mirror, in .zip format, didn't work.
And yes FMQ is my typo. Just another TLA to me, IYKWIM?
Les graphics replacement (from balance, you say?) is worth it all it's own. It bugged me that planets did not have the color-codes of their assigned composition (damn that inner scientist!
But.. LIKE WOW! I thought SE V looked super-cooler than prior versions, but SE V on Multimedia pack!!! WOW!
(Sorry it took a while to reply... I had this overpowering need to play it a couple or 10 hours... to be sure it worked... yeah, that sound good )
