Infantry image

Hi everyone! Now i'm trying to add several infantry tipes to the game, but i don't know if it is possible to actually add a proper image, instead of using small troops' one. Is possible to have soldiers running around instead of small machines tipe troops?

Well, you need a model that looks like a soldier rather than a tank. Some shipsets have them. You could copy from one that has it, or if you have the skills make a soldier model of your own.

Examples from the shipyard:
13th tribe, granted they're armored guys with jetpacks, but they're not vehicles.
And the Dark Terran Set
Vulcans
Isopsyco seemed to like those.
Earth Alliance vaguely similar concept but with a very different style of armor.

I forget where I found it but I had one named "abyss" that has cybernetic humanoids as troops. there is a big hint though. the AI General file isn't written in English. It looks like it might be Romanian. And Prometeu's the only Romanian SE5 shipset maker I know. *finds thread on Prometeu's work* Yep it's one of Prometeu's.
Also he did:
Imperium of Mankind from Warhammer
Sith has people in body armor but not armored suits.
VGE the troops of various sizes look like the Evas from Evangelion.

Thanks man! I actually looked into the shipyard but i only found shipsets. Where did you get all these models? Shocked

The first four examples ARE in the shipyard, but most shipsets in the shipyard use vehicles for ground troops.

The others have been posted to the forums, in threads in the shipyard section.

Note: these links are all full shipsets, it's just that these shipsets happen to have interesting ground troops.

Sorry for the late answer but i was internetless. Thanks again for the infos! But if i'd like to design some brand new models, what program should i use? Do you have any idea?

That's a bit outside my area of expertise. Try asking in the shipyard forum. The main thing I know is that whatever you use needs to save the models in makes in .x format.
