Its been suggested some new shipsets might be in order and a suggestion was made I believe to Atrocities asking him to look at it. Seems he isn't sure there is any interest in these shipsets (for SE IV). Anyone out their fancy some new ships for these 2 races?
Personally I could see them going into several mods

It'd be awesome to see a EA and a Minbari shipset done by AT, provided he'd be willing!
Both are perfect for his style, and I doubt anyone else could do them justice!

I'm currently working on a Drazi and a Centauri set for SE4, but It'd be terrific to see AT's take on those two!

why is it that the Starbase (Bab 5 station) for the Earth Alliance does not fire on ships or sho a value for its shields. The damn thing will be tricked out with weapons and shields yet it refuses to fire anything but point defense weapons and it states that it has zero shields. Its very frustrating any information on this would be extremely helpful.

Can't answer the "why" of those question. I honestly have no idea.
The focus here is the shipsets, most hopefully done by Atrocities (wink, hint, hint, hint...)

It has nothing to do with the shipset, first thing to check is if the base has supply storage, if it has no supplies, it will not do anything.
Perhaps, if we were to plant spore sacs in your brain organ and let its tendrils spread through your flesh, then you would truly understand Juffo-Wup... become part of Juffo-Wup.

Thank you VERY much...I can't believe that was the problem...I have been relying on Auto complete and it never gives the station any supplies...it does this for the AI too BTW. Thank tho that was very helpful.

I have been having problems with the B5 starbase. As I mentioned in earlier posts the B5 station will not fire on ships in my games. It was suggested that I did not have supplies on the station and hence it would not fire. That turned out to be true. I subsequently added supplies and the station began actively defending itself however, if the AI is playing as the Earth Alliance and builds the B5 starbase it will not defend itself. It is my belief that the AI auto complete function is not supplying the station with supplies. I need to know if and or how I can change the auto-complete to include supplies with the starbase and then allow it to defend itself. I had thought ( and you all may laugh at my ignorance ) that if I changed the model for the station that would solve the problem but, it did not. It persisted in not supplying the starbase with supplies. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Although none of this has anything to do with the real topic - new shipsets, I can certainly point you in the right direction. The problem is in the AI_DesignCreation file, hopefully only the Earth-Alliance, but possibly all?
To solve the problem, forget that, are you talking about SE 4 which this is about or SE 5? In SE 4 it wouldn't be a problem, as bases don't need supplies due to being in fixed orbit!
If SE 5, you might want to move into the SE 5 forum.

Thanks.  | If you're playing B5W mod, then it's a function of the fact that supply storage is something not available at start.
