I'll look into it, It might be an adjustment from a patch that effected my mod. I had it working the last time i play tested it (well over a year ago maybe more...). Anyway, its a rather easy fix, I just need to change the regeneration time/tonnage line on the component.
Anyway, thanks for the input. I'll get it going soon. FRAK THIS! Back to top
I've also noticed a few situations where ships with FTL drives and organic armor will have the armor mysteriously repair itself upon entering battle, and maybe during battle... Back to top
If the Unstable Warp Point ability ever does get implemented, then I see a clear method for distinguishing between FTL warp points and those created by the game, or stable warp point generating components.
For any component which represents an FTL drive, set the component to create a specific type of warp point. That particular warp point type will always be 100% unstable, and, thus, will close when it is used.
Warp points created by Stellar Manipulation components could create stable types, or random types if you prefer. The game could also generate stable warp points at game start.
About the regeneration of the FTL drives: Did the original mod use the Component - Regeneration ability, or does the ship rely upon repair components to do that job? It seems to me that you could use that ability for more than just the organic armour.
