Didnt realize this was for SE4, thought was SEV
If l buy SE4 its only 10 dollars, are we using the delux version and which patches/mod etc?

Yes, we are playing with the Deluxe version.
We are also playing with an altered version of the Carrier Battles Mod. The necessary file links can be found in this thread:

Yes, you want all the full versions. You can use the download links on the site or the mirror sites listed at the bottom. If you have a Bit Torrent client, the mod is also available through the SE File Tracker.

thanks once again, being used to SEV, have dloaded/installed SE4 now and also the carrier mod, sorry for noob type questions but was expecting to see gametype folder for mods, so dont know where to install the carrier mod to se4....

In SEIV you put the mod folder into your root folder of the game. ...\Space Empires IV Gold\ (or whatever yours is called).
Be sure and grab the "Upgrade to deluxe" patch for SEIV and there is 1 other patch that takes it from 1.94 to 1.95.
http://home.spaceempires.net/downloads-file-600.html <--thats Fyron's mod launcher utility for SEIV. Very useful since in SEIV you have to retype the Path.txt file every time you want to play a different mod. The mod utility does that for you and lets you pick the mod you want to play on the fly.

For next turn, post some orders to have your avatar built, along with a ship construction request.
I can get you a flagship of your choice built in one turn at the homeworld (normal hull, not the flagship hull). An existing design, or even a custom one. Be sure your choice includes VIP quarters for your avatar.

Standard Flagship is currently the Boxer class. Once an officer establishes that they are serious about their career choice, they will obtain the opportunity to get a custom Flagship designed to their specs.

 Request to take on the task of colonising a new system if thats still possible? I don't take orders well! So being a sub-commander in a fleet probably wouldn't be the way to go, I'd rather take the bigger risk of being a minor Lord.
