can we please have some half size engines?
at the moment there are some speeds we cannot get with the smaller ship hulls.

also can we have a 5kt armor component, that last 5kt seems a waste going towards ordnance or supply if you've already got a large supply and or ordnance component on the ship.

IRM has small component pictures for small ordnance and small supply, have you thought about using these?

I had a similar thought: for a few select components, it would be nice if they got a size reduction as a tech advance. You know, some size 25 shield gens at tech 4, or something along those lines.

I haven't run up against the engine problem because I always play low & slow techs. 1/2 armors would be sweet. Other little parts don't seem to be urgently needed, but would be nice.

I've also never run up against a shortage of hull blocks to put things in. Some day I'd like to see if the game would work if all hulls could handle about 4 or 5 times as much weight. Then you'd see some triple-deckers! But that's too radical for this mod.

I'll add some small pics in for components.

The main reason I kept armor at 10kT was to keep design time down, by not forcing twice as many armors on a design, same reason for engine size as well.

I'll be starting a BM offshoot shortly, which will not be tied so much to stock. It'll revert back to 10kT engines along with reactors to provide supplies to engines etc.

Depending on what shipset you use, there is sometimes space issues with certain design types.

You could probibly get away with just having one small normal armor, since abilitys die when components are past 50% it's not a lot of point doing the other armors anyway.

I was thinking having two of every type of engine, one 20kt, and one 10kt.

Perhaps it would be best to submit small pics to the Multimedia Pack, rather than force users to have redundant duplicate images in several mods.

Smarter than your average Texrak.
