Well, if you ask me, the Silver and Bronze Races from Heroic Age are a bit closer to SEV and both of them are easier to make... I even thought about a what-if Namekian shipset, but I can hardly imagine either of them without a complete visual mod of SEV, since SEV is not colorful enough for them.

Anyways, there are two games whose mechanics could really support anime space battles: Reach for the Stars, Romance of the Three Kingdoms (don't laugh, play RotTK 8 or 10 and you'll see)

Hehe... Honestly the main reason I'd like to see one is because of how many other tv shows are now represented by shipsets.

I want to see many races from various universes in SEV, but the fact that I can make 1 shipset per month is very discouraging Smile

BTW I plan to make another shipset this year (probably in December) and it isn't from any TV show either.

Well, there are 21 other alien portraits waiting to be done, and some updates of the old ones. I think I'll go for updates next time.

I do realize that a shipset is alot more work than one race pic, even with the quality of these.
I guess I just can't help wanting that level of quality for a shipset too. Smile

You should try and sell some of your work. Games like Sword of the Stars use this kind of artwork to great effect.
