A quick download and look, it seems to be missing the baseship. Looks like a great start though.
Add the super star destroyer for a base ship or dreadnought (if deathstar is baseship), and refine the rest, this will be a beauty of a shipset!
How long did this take?

As far as I know, the starbase and the base ship are the same model, normally. Check the other races to confirm.
This was done over the course of a month, if I recall. I don't work on the races full time or anything; it's really more like 1-2 hrs per model (including images), plus about 1/2 hr average to place the inventory slots, adjust the inventory image, and adjust any setting files.
Add a bit of extra time (6 hrs total?) for re-sizing, checking, and correcting things that only show up in that special SE5-flavor rendering.
Add another potential 15 min per model if I was to place & color the engines correctly. I don't think the firing points are important enough to move; do YOU notice exactly where the weapon fire comes from?
One more note: It seems SE5 care more about how many "parts" there are to a model than how many polygons. You could probably triple the detail on the models here and not have SE5 break a sweat, as long as it was either still part of the one "frame" (or model) or a group of frames combined.
I met 90% of my intent, and have moved to the Y'Gath because people seem to be clamoring for more SE5 shipsets. I may come back to fix things a bit, but I have more people asking for model sits than I allow the time for. Seriously, there is probably a waiting list.

I've noticed the starbase and baseships tend to be the same models. The BSG set has separate ones, to add to the way of looking at it. I am just curious because there wasn't an image file specifically for it in the folder as usually happens.
As for the aforementioned waiting list...heh, just glad you are enjoying working on such well-done work as it is. Even sets left a little unrefined can always be returned to later and improved upon in the end. A rash of rockin' models and basic textures (or transparencies in some cases!), would hardly be a bad thing. I think the one part I worry about dealing with more than the rest in making a set is the thought of texturing. I might just model the ships and coerce somebody to paint them all pretty.
Also, was wondering after seeing the other improvements that FQM adds. Can a ship in space have any animation involved? What about during Tactical Combat? As current they are static models swinging around through space and I know the terran designs from Imperium Galactica II has a top level battleship with a rotating piece in the middle.

The shipset looks great, but one small niggle. In imperial_Vehicle_Main_Texture.bmp it looks like some other shipset except for one Tie fighter...

Let me ask you - what is that used for? If I saw those pics in the game, I would probably change them.
(let me know if they are used and I'll make an update.)
The reasons the TIE is in there is because I was trying to find out where the space battle unit pics were kept.

Well, if they aren't used I guess it doesn't matter. I read someplace that they are used if you turn graphics down, but I haven't tested that because I don't need to play that way.

EvilleJedi's Star Wars models are soon to be introduced to SEV thanks to the conversion work done by TakAhLah at Space Empires Universe.
For reference, EvilleJedi did the Star Wars conversion for Homeworld 2. Those same models (and textures) are now being introduced to SEV.
Here is a link to some of the early screenshots of the Imperial shipset. Shown in the task force is a Nebulon B Frigate, a Strike Cruiser, 2 Victory I Star Destroyers, 2 Imperial Star Destroyers and a Super Star Destroyer. Rebel shipset will soon follow.
