So it's been a while since I've tried modding and when playing with the score weighting I came across a weird issue. For reference, the base I'm using is BM 1.19j.
Typically empires start with ~96k points. When you set the points per unit tonnage on planets to 0.5* that score jumps to ~400k. But this is at the beginning of the game when 0 units exist.
