That is not a problem - you can allow player to turn those reports on/off same way as usual ministers at empire screen

The bigest problem of mod is for multiplayer with simultaneous move - warp points are closed earlier, then you are able to see them.

Some changes offered here are not modeble, in TCP/IP you will get everything same to PBEM/PBW.
