You can try setting your Theme in Your Account to the Anagram theme, which has a minimum of graphics in it. This will decrease the file overhead needed when viewing pages on SE.net.

You have to register, via the Registration box in the top right corner of the home page. Once you have registered, visit Your Account and then click on Themes. There will be a drop down box listing all of the themes. Select one and hit the Save Changes button.

Only registered members may send them. To send one, visit Your Account and scroll down to the third block labeled "Broadcast Public Message."

You can send a Public Message from here (255 characters max). This message will be displayed to all online users in the next 10 minutes. Any user online will see you message just once in a red bar under the site's logo. Any user can deactivate this feature from here. Please don't abuse. HTML code isn't allowed here.

An avatar is a small graphic image below your details in posts. After logging in, find the Forums link in the Modules block on the top left portion of the site, or in the header for most themes. Then, click on the Profile link. Scroll down to the bottom to the Avatar Control Panel. In the Upload Avatar From Your Machine field, type in the location of the avatar file on your computer. Only one image can be displayed at a time. Its width can be no greater than 64 pixels, the height no greater than 64 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB. Then, hit the Submit button at the bottom.
