This mod started as an effort to have the space ships use for engines be variable by ship size. Over time, it has grown to incorporate balance tweaks, new shield types, research tweaks, and serious overhauls to AI ship design creation, ship construction, and unit construction. This version includes some MAJOR gameplay changes, particularly the fact that Crystallurgy and Organic Manipulation tech races now use Radiactives and Organics respectivly as their primary resource.
Additionally, the AI has been modified to take these changes in to account, and to be more efficient in colonizing when it is low on resources.
Also, defending against intel attacks is no longer a sure bet, as there is a minimum and maximum success rate and an empire's defenses are slightly reduced based on several internal factors. |
